Coats & Bennett, PLLC is pleased to announce that distinguished attorney, William G. Pagán, was the keynote speaker at the North Carolina Society of Hispanic Professionals Meet & Greet, Wednesday August 23, 2017 at the NCCU School of Law, Durham NC.

Mr. Pagán graduated Summa Cum Laude from NCCU Law as Valedictorian of their evening program, and also holds Masters and Bachelor’s Degrees in Computer Science.  He is an award-winning Patent Attorney, nationally-recognized engineer, tech-industry veteran, former IBM Master Inventor, valedictorian, pro-bono volunteer, and private pilot.

In 2007, he received a Luminary Award at the Hispanic Engineering National Achievement Awards Conference, and a Star Award from the Distributed Management Task Force.  He is also a life member of the Society of Professional Hispanic Engineers.  Mr. Pagán has won numerous awards for patent leadership and frequently mentored other technical staff on successful inventing and creative collaboration techniques.

Mr. Pagán is admitted to practice in North Carolina, as well as in the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
