Jennifer Stewart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, summa cum laude, with a Minor in Mathematics, from the University of Florida. Following her undergraduate degree, Ms. Stewart earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, with emphasis on optics and communications. Her thesis, “Time Resolved Optical Flow Visualization,” involved designing an optical interferometric system capable of capturing and processing stable images of high-speed time-dependent gaseous flows in volatile environments to provide data necessary for refining complex mathematical models.

Ms. Stewart has more than 7 years engineering experience in optical systems, including optical interferometers and fiber optic telecommunication subsystems using fiber optic switches and amplifiers. Before joining Coats & Bennett, Ms. Stewart held design engineering, project engineering, project management, and systems engineering positions at Harris Corporation on a wide variety of government and commercial communications programs.

Ms. Stewart is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the Triangle Intellectual Property Law Association.
